Can I use the TIBO knife directly on the silicone mat?

While the mat is durable, it is not intended as a primary cutting surface. For the best results and to protect the mat from slices, we recommend placing your TIBO Mini Cutting Board on top of the mat. The mat will act as a perfect non-slip anchor for the board.

How heat-resistant is the silicone?

Our food-grade silicone is naturally heat-resistant, making it excellent for protecting your table from warm plates or prep bowls. However, we do not recommend placing glowing-hot pans directly from the oven onto the mat.

Does it stay flat on the counter?

Yes. Despite being lightweight and rollable, the high-quality silicone is designed to lay perfectly flat as soon as it is placed on a surface, with no curling at the edges.

Will it stain if I spill colorful spices or sauces on it?

The non-porous nature of our silicone makes it highly resistant to staining. We recommend rinsing off high-pigment ingredients (like turmeric or tomato sauce) after use to keep the matte finish looking new.

Is the mat safe for rolling out dough?

Absolutely. The non-stick matte surface is ideal for pastry work, kneading dough, or prepping cookies, as it requires less flour to keep the dough from sticking.

Can I cut the mat to a smaller size?
