Will a metal cutting board dull my TIBO knife?

While stainless steel is harder than plastic, the titanium coating on our board is designed to be as "knife-friendly" as a metal surface can be. For daily prep, it is excellent for hygiene; however, we recommend a light touch to maintain your knife's razor edge for the longest possible time.

Does the board slide around on the counter?

Due to its sleek 1mm profile, we recommend placing a damp kitchen towel or a small silicone mat underneath if you are working on high-speed chopping to provide extra grip on polished stone or marble countertops.

Can I use both sides of the TIBO Mini?

Yes! Both sides feature the same high-quality titanium coating and SS304 stainless steel, allowing you to flip the board to prevent cross-contamination during a single prep session.

Is the titanium coating safe for food?
